In our office we understand that everyone's needs and expectations about orthodontics are different. That's why we take great care to give you the individualized treatment you deserve.

When you arrive for your first visit you will be greeted by one of our Treatment Coordinators. They will give you a tour of our office and prepare you for your visit with the doctor. If timing is right for orthodontic treatment, the doctor will design a specific treatment plan to meet your needs. The Treatment Coordinator will expedite this plan in an efficient and timely manner; minimizing your time away from work, school, or play!

The first orthodontic exam does not always result in a recommendation for immediate treatment. After evaluating your child, the orthodontist may simply want to check them periodically while the permanent teeth erupt and the jaws and face continue to grow.

During this period we will place your child in 'Kidz Club'; a growth and guidance program where they will be closely monitored to determine the appropriate time for braces. Members of this special club receive their very own membership card, bookmark, activities, stickers, and tattoos. They will also be included in special office events and contests!

These growth and guidance visits are very important because the orthodontist can evaluate factors such as growth of the jaws, loss of baby teeth, eruption of the adult teeth and the effect of habits such as thumb-sucking, tongue-thrusting and mouth-breathing. These early visits allow the orthodontist to determine how to treat a child's orthodontic problems with the least time and expense, and optimum improvement and comfort. As a result, many potential problems can be kept to a minimum and the duration of orthodontic treatment can be greatly reduced.
